Davenport Trust Company (DavTrust) is a North Carolina corporation wholly owned by Davenport & Company LLC (Davenport). It was formed in 2009 to be the trustee for individual retirement accounts (IRAs) held by Davenport. Beginning in the fourth quarter, DavTrust will serve as the trustee of all IRAs held at Davenport. Through a services agreement with Davenport, DavTrust will have complete access to Davenport's full complement of investment management resources.
