Gary heads Davenport’s Financial Institutions Group. He has more than 25 years of corporate finance experience advising financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, financings and strategic issues. Prior to joining Davenport in 2007, Gary was Head of Financial Institutions Investment Banking at Ryan Beck. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Scott & Stringfellow, Inc.’s Financial Institutions Group for 10 years.

Gary is a frequent speaker to various banking groups across the country. He received his MBA from the College of William & Mary and his BS from Eastern Michigan University.
