Alan's practice areas include financial institutions advisory, fairness opinions and valuations. Alan has 8 years of corporate finance experience. He joined Davenport in 1999 from a regional mergers and acquisitions firm.

Alan received his JD from the T.C. Williams School of Law and his MBA from the Richard S. Reynolds Graduate School of Business in a joint JD/MBA program at the University of Richmond. He received his BA in American Studies from Cornell University.
