1. Our goal is to provide proprietary research ideas, value-added sales coverage and performance-driven trading for companies in our focus sectors.
2. Davenport serves more than 300 institutional investors. We are committed to understanding our clients’ investment criteria and matching quality stock recommendations to their needs.
3. Our 12 sales and trading professionals work closely with Davenport Research Analysts who cover more than 190 local, regional, and sector-focused companies (View coverage list).
4. We believe direct contact and one on one dialogue between investors and corporate managements are crucial. We travel frequently with corporate managements to cities across the country to introduce new institutional investors and meet with existing shareholders. We also frequently sponsor field trips to corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities for groups of institutional investors.
5. Davenport also hosts industry conferences in New York City, including the Metals & Mining and Infrastructure and Basic Industry Conferences.
