We view asset allocation as the primary determinant of a portfolio’s risk and return. Our asset class progression is based on the belief that certain asset allocation decisions clearly have more impact than others on overall portfolio performance. Unlike many other asset allocation strategies, our process is designed to shift assets from overvalued, outperforming asset classes into other areas. Over time, we believe this will help our clients buy low and sell high.
Diversification is a key component of effective asset allocation. Predicting the top-performing asset class each year is extremely difficult. Diversification among asset classes allows your portfolio to benefit from the top performers while helping to minimize the effect of those areas of underperformance.
Diversification and Asset Allocation does not ensure a profit or guarantee protection against a loss.
