Davenport receives coveted recognition from StarMine
On May 30, 2012 The Financial Times and StarMine released their 2012 Broker Rankings, naming Davenport & Company LLC as the #3 Most Productive Broker in the United States for 2012 as it relates to research performance. Davenport was the only regionally based firm to receive the recognition. The Most Productive Broker awards recognize three firms that have earned the highest number of individual analyst awards relative to the total number of qualifying analysts at their firm. Three of Davenport’s equity research analysts received the coveted StarMine Analyst Award for 2012. Ann Gurkin, a thirteen-year veteran of Davenport, has been recognized by StarMine for six consecutive years; Clint Fendley, who has been with Davenport for 5 years, has received recognition for three consecutive years; and Michael Morris, Co-Director of Davenport's Research department, was recognized for the first time since joining Davenport in 2010 from UBS.
